Rivetra Subscription, Cancellation and Refund Policy
Policy version: 2026-07-12
Effective date: July 12, 2026
This Policy applies to subscriptions for Rivetra software. It does not govern payments that a contractor collects from its customers for construction work.
1. Purchase and Billing Provider
Android subscriptions are purchased and billed through Google Play unless the purchase screen expressly identifies another legally permitted billing method. RevenueCat presents offers and synchronizes entitlement status but does not charge the payment method. The Google Play checkout confirmation and receipt identify the merchant, price, taxes, currency, billing period, renewal date, and applicable offer.
If a purchase screen, Google Play confirmation, or this Policy conflicts about the current price or billing date, the terms shown by Google Play immediately before purchase control for that transaction.
2. Automatic Renewal
Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew for the same billing period until canceled. Google Play charges the payment method associated with the purchaser's Google account at the price and frequency displayed before purchase, subject to any accepted price change, taxes, trial, or promotional offer.
Before purchase, Rivetra and Google Play will clearly display:
- the plan and recurring features;
- the total recurring price and billing frequency;
- whether the subscription automatically renews;
- any free trial, introductory period, founder offer, or eligibility condition;
- when paid billing begins;
- how to cancel; and
- material limitations known at purchase.
Starting free beta access does not by itself authorize a future charge. A user must affirmatively complete the Google Play purchase flow before a paid subscription begins.
3. Trials, Offers, and Founder Pricing
Trials and promotional offers are available only to users Google Play or Rivetra identifies as eligible. Unless canceled before the displayed trial or offer end, the subscription renews at the recurring price shown before the user accepts the offer.
Founder, coupon, or promotional pricing may be limited by date, account, company, territory, product, or redemption count. The checkout screen controls whether an offer applies only to an introductory period or continues for later renewals. Rivetra will not represent temporary pricing as permanent.
4. Company Entitlement
Where a plan is sold as a company plan, the subscription entitlement covers the company workspace and authorized seats or features stated for that plan. The purchasing account or company admin is responsible for maintaining the purchase and assigning authorized users.
Employee removal does not cancel a company subscription. Removing or changing the purchaser may require subscription transfer or restoration steps supported by Google Play and RevenueCat.
5. Cancellation
Users may cancel at any time through Rivetra's subscription settings or Google Play's subscription center:
https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
Cancellation stops future renewal charges. Unless Google Play or applicable law states otherwise, access continues through the end of the already-paid billing period. Canceling does not ordinarily refund the current period.
Rivetra will not require a phone call, sales conversation, or explanation to reach the online cancellation method. Support may assist but is not required to complete cancellation.
6. Account Deletion Is Separate
Deleting a Rivetra user account, deleting company data, uninstalling the app, or disconnecting RevenueCat does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription through Google Play to stop renewal.
Likewise, canceling a subscription does not immediately delete the Rivetra account or company records. Data requests are governed by the Data Rights, Deletion and Retention Policy.
7. Refunds
Google Play administers refund eligibility for Google Play purchases. Users may request a refund through Google Play. Rivetra may also authorize a refund or credit where supported, including for duplicate charges, confirmed entitlement failures, or other circumstances Rivetra determines appropriate.
Cancellation alone does not create a refund right. Refund rights required by applicable law remain available. Google Play may issue refunds independently, and approved refunds may immediately or later revoke the associated entitlement.
8. Price and Plan Changes
Rivetra may change future subscription prices, plan names, included features, seat limits, or usage limits. Existing subscriptions receive notice and consent or cancellation rights required by Google Play and applicable law before a material price or renewal change takes effect.
Material changes will not be hidden inside unrelated terms. A user may cancel before the change becomes effective. Continued use of a prepaid period does not waive a legally required consent to a later recurring charge.
9. Failed Payments, Grace Period, and Account Hold
Google Play may retry a failed renewal and may apply a grace period or account hold. Features or write access may be limited when an entitlement expires, payment remains unresolved, a purchase is revoked, or fraud is suspected. Rivetra will preserve reasonable access to cancellation, privacy, export, legal, and support controls during a billing restriction.
10. Taxes and Currency
Google Play determines displayed currency and may calculate and collect taxes. Exchange rates, banking fees, and taxes can vary by location and payment method.
11. Contractor-Customer Transactions
Subscription refunds do not resolve payments, deposits, milestones, invoices, or disputes between a contractor and its customer. Those transactions are between the contractor, customer, and payment provider, subject to the contractor's agreement and applicable law.
Rivetra may technically block, disable, reduce, or cap a contractor-configured credit-card surcharge, convenience fee, or similar customer-facing fee without prior notice. The application ceiling is three percent (3%) of an eligible credit-card transaction, or the lower amount permitted by state law, card-network rules, the acquirer, or the payment provider. Debit and prepaid card fees remain disabled unless affirmatively permitted by every governing rule. Availability of a setting is not legal approval, and the contractor remains responsible for registration, notice, disclosure, signage, and transaction-level compliance.
12. Retainable Acknowledgment
Google Play provides a purchase confirmation or receipt. Rivetra records the product, entitlement, policy version, and acceptance evidence available to it. Users should retain the Google Play receipt and this Policy.
